Brooklyn Art Haus (BAH) is pleased to present The History We Make, a group exhibition that serves as a collective time capsule reflecting introspective and extrospective Black and African diasporic histories. In honor of Black History Month and Women's History Month, The History We Make collectivizes and highlights individual moments and recollections of Black history as artists move through space and time, making and capturing history every day. Artists share space, embrace coexistence and community, and express individuality in their chosen medium as it relates to the complexities of Blackness.
Atlanta-born and raised, Brooklyn-based photographer, Nigil Crawford, captures the Black spirit and gaze through emotive portraits. These pieces are also for sale.
